Key features of Slate
Slate is a social network with a clean slate.
While developing Slate, we focused our attention on the main needs of human online population. We also looked deeply into the social aspects of communication safety inherent to any existing social network.
We have analysed multitude of factors and found effective solutions to create a new type of social network — secure, profitable and effective.
Slate is focused on guarding online users’ best interests and promoting quality content.
Slate: User’s information is the user’s property
Slate knows minimum information about users.
It is very difficult to get your personal information on the platform (data, correspondence) or to receive it at the request of special services and governments.
Slate platform does not need your data, requesting only the necessary information for registration. All information is protected by encryption and anonymization. The user has access to the well-known data set platform and can delete any information at any time.
Slate: Freedom of choice
The foundation of any social network is users’ content.
Slate users choose what content subscribes to and what exactly to see in the news feed. Shadow Following allows you to subscribe to certain layers of information that are of interest to you. 99% of non-relevant content - does not show in newsfeed at all.
No one has the right to steal your time, forcing you to scroll uninteresting and annoying information. Only the user chooses what information will be seen in the news feeds.
Slate: No targeted ads
Down with the manipulation! No data - no micro targeting!
In principle, Slate does not spy on users, does not collect arrays of users’ data from several thousand parameters, does not store, does not analyze and does not sell this data to third parties. The risk of data leaks is minimized.
The ability to control human consciousness with the help of botofarms and micro targeted ads is minimized. Slate simply does not have the information necessary for manipulation and information wars.
Slate user’s content is a property of a user
Content is a product. It has a price, although content creators often underestimate it.
All major social networks treat users’ data and content as their property and do not reward its creation in any way.
Slate - treats its users as Clients.
Slate helps users monetize their data and content.
Slate is a tool for easy monetization of quality content. Write or translate texts, shoot video reviews or lessons, create masterpieces of music or rap, share your thoughts or are looking for a way to save humanity - any of your ideas framed in content can be monetized. In the form of paid "likes", donations, or direct sales as a Product or Services.
We are against bots. We are against fakes. We are against manipulation.
Slate: Actuality of accounts and information. Moderation.
Only real authors and content creators appear in your news feed.
Slate uses a multi-level account verification system. The posts of bots are visible only to the same bots, and not to real users. Endless cheats are simply impossible: likes have a certain value, expressed in Slax tokens to the USD exchange rate.
Slate implements a hierarchical content moderation system. At the lower level, content is moderated by users with a high level of account verification - it allows to increase the total number of moderators to ten times. On the two top levels, Slate moderators work and act as the last authorities of the platform.
Slate - a social network in the interests of the user!
